A policy to match your farm
Dolors Gòdia, agricultural engineer and agricultural insurance expert at our brokerage, shares her analysis of this year's fruit tree insurance campaign.
«These days we are starting the fruit insurance campaign and it is one of the most important periods for our company. This year, insurance is bringing us new features that continue the trend of recent years: increasingly individualised historical data per plot of land, making the Spanish insurance system fairer and fairer.
It is true that not everyone will be happy with these measures, but I believe that in the long run we will all benefit, because we have to maintain the balance of the whole system so that our good farmers can continue to insure and feel that behind the inclement weather they have a system that guarantees them a minimum to face the next season with minimum guarantees.
Before the climate change We at PIB Group Iberia have full confidence in agricultural insurance and we believe it is vitally important to have good technical advice both in the process of contracting the policy and throughout the campaign, following up any claims that may occur in an exhaustive and careful manner. We want our policyholders to feel that they are accompanied throughout the whole period of the policy”.”
